From here she followed her passion by undertaking three years of additonal training at Hartpury College gaining a MSc in Veterinary Physiotherapy. This high level of training allows Ami's registration with the professional body, ACPAT (The Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Animal Therapy) and the unique ability to treat both horse and rider.

Ami is an experienced human and veterinary physiotherapist, working as a rotational and senior therapist at Derriford Hospital before moving to Liskeard Community Hospital in Cornwall to specialise in musculoskeletal injuries and conditions, alongside visiting animal clients within Devon and Cornwall.

Ami grew up in South West Cornwall and is never too far away from the coast! Animals have always been close to her heart - growing up with ponies, cats, dogs and horses. She currently owns three horses and enjoys riding and competing them alongside looking after her cats and chickens at home. Her other interests include surfing, walking and cycling.
